The ideal person will act as a senior partner and change agent to team members across the organization and will deliver value-added counsel that reflects business objectives and Tapcheck culture. This role will report to the Vice President of People. This individual will be responsible for the support and implementation of new processes and systems, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, talent management and compliance for an assigned client group (Product & Engineering). This role will serve various levels within the organization from executives to team members.
What You'll Do: - Conducts weekly meetings with respective business leaders
- Serves as a consultative subject matter expert who will establish best practice tools across assigned functions
- Serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for employee relations and performance issues
- Implement/optimize talent solutions and people programs that are aligned with the needs of the business
- Coaches people leaders to optimize leadership strengths and capabilities
- Keep informed on changes to People policies or programs and educate employees
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment laws
- All other duties as assigned or necessary
What You'll Bring: - 8+ years' working experience, in a similar or senior role in a Human Resources function
- 4 years' experience supporting product and engineering client groups in a start-up company highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience of Microsoft Office productivity, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent time management skills and able to cope well with a high volume of work.
- Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines, while being flexible as a dynamic environment requires
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility, in a professional and discreet mann
- Take initiative and have a growth mindset
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Development; might consider a combination of other education, certificate in related area and/or relevant work experience
