Oracle Elevator is the fastest growing independent elevator company in the nation. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced elevator industry professional with a strong sales and operations background to fill a General Manager opening.
The General Manager will have direct P&L responsibility for the branch and will manage the branch operations to include sales, field operations, and branch support team. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working in sales and/or operations in the vertical transportation industry and display the following traits:
- Responsible for development, implementation and attainment of an annual business plan, operating budget and orders budget.
- Executes implementation of objectives/initiatives for the service, modernization (i.e. Safety, Quality, market pricing, etc).
- Responsible for managing employee development, staffing, and performance management.
- Develops and fosters communication between all departments including effective problem resolution.
- Responsible for creating an environment of customer / employee satisfaction.
- Manages Corporate Compliance, proper business practices and code of conduct.
- Ensures operations conform to local, state and federal regulations.
- Establishes and maintains positive public relations to promote a reputation of quality for Oracle Elevator.
- Directs Department leaders to achieve planned goals and initiatives.
- Comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, policies contracts and product offerings.
- Familiarity of competitor product offerings and practices.
- General accounting and financial management principles.
- Laws and regulations regarding safety and environmental governmental regulations.
- Demonstrated ability at leading and sponsoring change.
- Ability to conduct financial analysis for the purpose of making sound business decisions.

- BS/BA degree in management or related field of study. Equivalent years of experience and training may be considered in lieu of a BS/BA degree.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of sales and operations experience in the elevator industry to be considered.
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Relocation assistance will be offered for the right candidate.
