About the Job:

The Internal Communications and Engagement Director will report to the Chief People Officer and is responsible for developing and executing effective internal communication strategies that foster employee engagement, drive employee value proposition and employee branding internally and externally, enhance organizational culture, and ensure alignment with company goals. This role involves collaborating with various departments to create informative, engaging, and impactful communications that resonate with employees at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Communication Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications and engagement strategy that aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Partner with leadership and the Transformation team to communicate to the business with transparency.
  • Support the development of employee value proposition and employee branding
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive external communications and engagement strategy geared at future employees (through LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed and other social channels and publications)
  • Assess, enhance and streamline existing communication channels and tools.


2. Content Development:

  • Create and curate engaging branded content for internal communications platforms, including newsletters, intranet, emails, and presentations.
  • Create and curate engaging content for external communications platforms linked to Orveon as an employer and great place to work
  • Ensure all communications reflect the company's brand voice and values.

  1. Employee Engagement Initiatives:

  • Design and execute programs that promote employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture including monthly themed global office days.
  • Organize events and initiatives that encourage collaboration and connection among employees.
  • Have oversight over workplace experience including office offerings, hybrid working schedule, etc.


3. Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Partner with leadership and departmental heads to identify communication needs and develop tailored messaging.
  • Act as a liaison between management and employees to ensure a two-way communication flow.
  • Partner with leadership to plan companywide Global Townhall


4. Metrics and Feedback:

  • Lead the annual employee engagement survey, analyze results and develop action plans in partnership with HR and the leadership team.
  • Monitor and analyze engagement metrics and feedback to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies.
  • Drive employee survey strategies, cadence and tools.
  • Make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.


5. Crisis Communication:

  • Develop and implement communication plans for crisis situations to ensure timely and accurate information dissemination.


6. Training and Support:

  • Provide guidance and training to employees on effective communication practices.
  • Support managers in delivering key messages and facilitating discussions with their teams.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or a related role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet, email marketing, collaboration tools).
  • Experience with data analysis and performance metrics.


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with change management processes.
  • Experience in managing communication during organizational change or crises.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $126,000 - $234,000. Supplemented with all the amazing benefits above for full-time employees!
