About the Measurement Solutions Team:Measurement Solutions leverages data & analytics to measure marketing performance and drive action to maximize the impact of marketing
- We unlock enterprise value for clients through the adoption & use of actionable and impactful data solutions and measures of marketing success
- We implement, drive client buy-in, and drive usage of Ovative Measurement products & approaches (eg: EMR), & future O/g measurement products to maximize media impact
- We validate and unlock additional opportunities through testing and advanced analytics
- We work side by side with client and media teams to maximize marketing performance
About the Role:In this role you will serve as a
senior leader on our Measurement Solutions team to help clients get the most value from marketing measurement. You will be accountable for leading measurement engagements with key Ovative accounts, managing and developing a team of analysts and consultants and connecting the dots between data, analytics, & business realities to translate insights to marketing strategy. You will also provide senior level client facing support where needed in key moments, such as; selling new business, QBRs, other major client moments that need extra senior support, etc. This senior level client support will require strong communication and partnership skills (as well as Measurement & Marketing expertise).
Our approach to marketing measurement is a key differentiator of Ovative group.You will need to be a high level expert at how marketing measurement technology works and the strategy for how to leverage it to move forward marketing activation (testing, analysis, etc) to unlock tangible business value for clients. Note, you will be supported by other experts at Ovative (Paid Media, Data Science, etc). Help support the development of novel approaches to solve challenges in marketing measurement.
Responsibilities of a Sr. Manager, Marketing Analytics and Measurement:- Team Leadership & Empowering Others:
- Lead, manage, and develop team of high-performing marketing measurement experts
- Manage and develop individual team leaders, supporting career growth and individual success
- Partner with other Measurement Solutions leaders to drive the direction, vision, roadmap, and execution of the Measurement Solutions team strategy
- Define and drive strategy across team structure, roles, development, and clients
- Work across internal Ovative teams to move roadblocks, figure out new solutions, and find ways to achieve Ovative goals
- Lead efforts to grow and evolve our Measurement skills, knowledge, toolset, product offerings, and culture
- Client Engagement:
- Work with leadership (client and internal) to review services, identifying areas for improvement and altering strategies and scope
- Show up as senior measurement leader during crucial client moments to support the team and help guide everyone to successful outcomes
- Provide business development support, assisting with strategy/messaging and liaising with prospective clients to refine scopes of work
- Thought Leadership:
- Address complex, open-ended analytics requests in a structured manner (often by working with your teams and other Ovative partners or clients)
- Identify & focus on what matters most to move the client's business forward
- Lead efforts to grow and evolve our consulting skills, knowledge, toolset, product offerings, and culture; steer an internal team kettle (internal CFT) focused on a key dimension of our work
- Subject matter expertise:
- Develop deep understanding of marketing measurement (technology and/or methodologies) and how it impacts data/analytics/clients-business
- Be able to connect client data/business trends and tell a compelling story to clients and other partners (in order to provide clarity and help leaders understand business)
- Help connect the measurement work Ovative does to our clients business models, goals, and challenges
- Ovative Leadership:
- Join the extended Leadership Team at Ovative: participate in several monthly leadership forums focused on team, business, client, and strategic initiatives; regularly interact with the founder and CEO on important efforts to strengthen and grow Ovative
- Engage in and lead strategic internal initiatives across Ovative, bringing forward subject matter expertise and structured problem-solving approaches to build foundation for growth
- Support Ovative's own strategy development and strategic planning process, along with the Measurement team's strategy
Experience Needed:- Requirements:
- 8-15 years of experience working with clients (internal or external)
- Experience within marketing (Digital marketing/media, traditional media, marketing consulting, marketing analytics, marketing research, etc)
- Excellent communicator & collaborator between multiple client & internal teams (Structured thinking extra helpful)
- Experience communicating and partnering with high-level partners (Directors, VPs, CMOs, CFOs, etc)
- Must be able to thrive working in ambiguous situations
- Able to connect complex marketing data & situations into tangible business path forward for clients
- Action oriented, self-driven hunger to take immediate action and make decisions quickly (to hit prospect deadlines)
- Preferred:
- Experience with full funnel marketing measurement
- Experience with CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) vertical and/or Retail Media Networks a plus
- Experience working with digital metric data, such as digital marketing analytics software (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, ViQ, etc)
- Experience with marketing strategy (Paid advertising, organic marketing, etc)
- Experience working with MMM/MTA marketing models (or other marketing measurement results/outputs)
- Able to connect complex marketing data & situations into tangible business path forward for clients
Pay TransparencyAt Ovative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus. Actual offers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact. Additional benefits information is provided below.
For our Sr. Manager positions, our compensation ranges from $111,000 to $186,000, which is inclusive of a 25% bonus.
