Lithos Energy designs and builds advanced lithium-ion battery packs from the ground up for use in high-performance automotive, marine and aerospace applications. We build the things we design and manufacture in-house, in California. We have built a team of accomplished engineers working on perhaps the most important technologies being developed today.
Responsibilities:- Assist in board-level electronics design, including component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout using the Altium CAD toolchain. Emphasis on design for test and manufacturability.
- Support the verification of board-level designs through tasks such as firmware integration, performance testing, EMC testing, and thermal testing.
- Assist in the design of cable harness interconnects.
- Help develop electronic hardware and systems for testing of assemblies and integrated products in a factory environment.
- Participate in developing electronic hardware and systems for software and system regression testing.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to maintain lab test equipment and infrastructure.
- Provide basic technical support to the supply chain team regarding component selection and qualification.
Qualifications:- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with electrical engineering fundamentals in analog, digital, and microcontroller domains.
- Exposure to board-level electronic design during coursework or internships is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of using Test & Measurement equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Preferred Skills:- Experience with Altium Designer or similar CAD software is an advantage.
- Familiarity with basic programming (e.g., Python).
- Knowledge of high-density PCB layout is beneficial.
- Understanding of high-voltage DC design or Battery Management Systems is a plus but not required.
Pay - 85-120K + Equity - DOE
