ABOUT THE ROLEMFour Mobile Research is looking for a DevOps Engineer to help fulfill our mission of making Consumer Understanding available to everyone. You'll be responsible for managing DevOps, along with support for IT systems, and internal support.
In this role, you'll work collaboratively with software engineering to achieve operational excellence. Help automate and streamline our operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments.
QUALIFICATIONS- 5-7 Years of experience creating and maintaining large enterprise grade systems using containers, and cloud-based infrastructure.
- At least 3 years of experience deploying production Docker applications with AWS ECS
- At least 1 year working with production AWS Lambda applications fronted with API Gateway.
- 3-5 years experience with AWS IAM and CloudFormation
- 3-5 years experience with CircleCI or equivalent CI/CD tool such as Travis CI.
- 3-5 years experience using an ELK stack or log aggregation tool built on top of CloudWatch.
- Expert in CloudWatch metrics, alarms, and notifications.
- Working knowledge of using AWS X-Ray in a distributed microservice environment, You must be able to monitor and report bottlenecks in our service graphs.
- Expert in Terraform. A large part of our infrastructure is code.
- Experience working with New Relic
- Understanding of the AWS Well Architected Framework, particularly the operations pillar
BONUS SKILLS- Recommend changes to network architecture and instance types for improved performance and security
- Estimate required storage costs for both hot and cold data
- AWS Storage Gateway
- Managing hardware based VPN connections on AWS
- Knowledge of AWS Transit Gateway
