Job SummaryReporting to the Head of Production, you as a
Senior Producer, Women of Impact, are responsible for managing all aspects of video production assigned, including concept development, pre-production, production, and post-production for Women of Impact. You will produce and book guests for assigned shows, along with other special projects and mini-series as determined. You will research and pitch new guests, create paper edits, review the episodes and work with the editor to provide notes & feedback on the cut. You will work closely with the Associate Producers, the Podcast team, the sales team and the Marketing team to implement promotion of each episode and show, as well as analyze the performance of each episode and change processes/content formats as necessary. You will be responsible for the channels P&L and use the data to determine the strategy.
Your Responsibilities: - Develop and execute video content that aligns with the channel's brand and audience.
- Manage pre-production activities, including content ideation, pitching guests, researching, and scheduling.
- Work with the host of the show to accurately execute their ultimate vision for the channel.
- Oversee all aspects of physical production, including shoots, edits, and post-production.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure videos are delivered and released on time and in line with Production SOPs and budgets.
- Continuously evaluate, optimize, and obsess over the channel's performance, audience engagement, and revenue potential.
- Constantly deep-diving into YouTube and Podcast analytics to guide decisions.
- Work with the host, marketing, and creative team to develop and execute new innovative concepts for YouTube videos.
- Work with the sales team to develop strategies for baked in ads.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective distribution strategies.
- Work with outside vendors, studios, and production houses for location shoots.
- Understanding and constantly assessing the competitive landscape.
Supervisor Responsibilities: - Work closely with editors on the construction of episodes by providing clear, concise notes on all deliverables. As well as constantly communicating the data of episodes (retention, view duration etc) and using that to form the construction of the next video.
- Oversee and manage any Producer assigned.
Requirements - 5+ years of related experience required in YouTube, both the front and backend. This is a MUST.
- 3+ years of related experience required in Podcasting
- A valid passport is a must to travel for shoots as needed.
- Ability to work at the HQ office, 5 days a week, in West Hollywood, CA
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Frame.io, Rev, Simon Says software
- Understanding of best editing practices, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro
- Strong creative vision and abilities.
Compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $110,000 salary per year.
