Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Principal Investigator to lead a grant-funded CTE Research Team. This role is centered around evaluating the causal impact of career development opportunities provided by CTE programs, within local school districts, offered at the secondary education level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing robust research methodologies for both an exploratory study and causal impact study, conducting in-depth data analysis, and generating insights that will inform stakeholders about best practices and models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead impactful research projects that evaluate the causal effects of CTE programs on student outcomes, community development, and local labor market dynamics.
  • Design and implement research methodologies suitable for causal impact studies in educational and community settings.
  • Analyze data sets to identify key trends, patterns, and causal relationships
  • Collaborate with educators, community leaders, and industry partners to align research objectives with real-world needs and opportunities.
  • Present research findings to diverse audiences, including educators, policymakers, community groups, and academic forums.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in CTE, career development research, and labor market trends.

Qualifications:
  • A Master's or Ph.D. in Education, Educational Research, Economics, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on causal research methods.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational or social science research, with specific expertise in career development and labor market analysis.
  • Proven track record in designing and conducting causal impact studies, preferably in an educational or community setting.
  • Deep understanding of the interplay between education, career development, and local labor market dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex research findings to varied audiences.
