Job Summary
- The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is accountable for treatment of patients, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, and RN while treating patients in Cardiac Rehab.
- The department in which the PTA works on any given day is at the discretion of the department leadership, based on staffing and patient volumes.
Education and/or Experience
- Associates Degree-Physical Therapist Assistant is required.
- 1-2 years of experience is preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- South Dakota PTA license through the South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners
- Basic Life Support certification within the first 3 months of start date.
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
