Job Description:
We are excited to announce an opening for a Class A CDL Driver! This is a long-term position with competitive pay at $23 per hour (Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hours), and a schedule of 40-60 hours per week. We seek a dedicated and skilled Class A CDL Driver with experience operating manual transmission vehicles, transporting essential products, and adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class A CDL vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Efficiently transport sod and water to designated locations on schedule.
• Utilize manual transmission skills to navigate the vehicle safely and effectively.
• Perform routine inspections on the vehicle to ensure optimum safety and performance.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate deliveries.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain high service and safety standards.

Note: Hours may vary daily based on multiple factors, and overtime will be required. This position involves regional travel and operating Truck Tractor & Flatbed and Water Truck.

Requirements:

• Class A Driver's License (no automatic restriction).
• Experience and ability to operate manual transmissions.
• Must be able to strap and unstrap loads and maneuver in and out of the truck for watering purposes (setting up and hooking up hoses to the water source, etc.).
• Front-end loader experience preferred.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR.
• Registered on the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Minimum of three years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
