Overview:

Wonderful Opportunity for a Per Diem, Experienced, Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established national group of physicians providing care to neonates at Christus St. Michael s Hospital in Texarkana, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Christus St. Michael's Hospital was ranked by Modern Healthcare as one of the "Best Places to Work in Healthcare" in 2017.
- The Level-III NICU has 8 beds and the intermediate unit has 7 with an average daily census of 9 infants.
- The neonatologists see babies in the newborn nursery with approximately 2,100 deliveries annually.
- NNPs provide 24-hour, in-house coverage and they also care for preemies and term babies who need mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide, oscillator ventilation and total body cooling.
Qualifications:
- Current APRN national specialty certification
- Minimum of a master s degree
- TX license or active IMLC required
- Certified NNP with recent experience required
