This clinic, a residency site for the Geisinger Lewistown Family Medicine Residency and part of the Lewistown campus for the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, is located in beautiful Mifflintown, PA, the county seat of Juniata County.

Base salary starting at $320k (more offered to experienced candidates)
Residency/Fellow stipend - up to $45k available

Position Details
Mifflintown, PA - Nestled among the Tuscarora Mountains and the Juniata River, Mifflintown serves as the county seat for Juniata County. Noted for its scenery and wildlife, the area was known for its Native American trails, turnpike, canal and railroad, which made the area a major route for trade and travel. Visit any number of the area's local state parks and enjoy fishing, camping, hiking, kayaking, and more! The town is centered around the circa 1875 Juniata County Courthouse, which currently houses county offices and county artifacts. Mifflintown also serves as the headquarters for Empire Kosher Poultry, the nations largest producer of kosher poultry. The Juniata River flows along the boroughs borders where residents and visitors enjoy the peaceful waters from the walking bridge or by fishing and boating. Nearby attractions include covered bridges, The Canal Park, Tuscarora Academy and the Port Royal Speedway.
