Since its founding in 1993 by the Central Washington Family Medicine Residency program, CHCW has expanded to deliver comprehensive services, including full-spectrum primary care, pediatrics, behavioral health, addiction treatment, dental care, and senior residential care.

Position Highlights

  • Provide primary care services to senior care clients across contracted skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), adult family homes (AFHs), and assisted living facilities (ALFs).
  • Serve as the Medical Director for individual SNFs.
  • Collaborate with the SR Care Clinical Director and Program Manager to deliver integrated care tailored to patient and facility needs.
  • Manage inpatient admitting, clinical care, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Engage in geriatric-focused clinical care with a preference for internal medicine or geriatric medicine background.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.

Practice Details

  • Patient Volume: Average of 14 patients/day, typically at one facility/day.
  • EMR: GEHRIMED.
  • Location: Central Washington, known for its stunning scenery, outdoor activities, and vibrant local culture.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: $220k-$230k DOE, with additional fellowship or productivity incentives.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO or IMG equivalent.
  • Completion of a US-accredited FM or IM Residency.
  • Preference for Geriatric Medicine certification or FM/IM with geriatric qualifications (AMDA certification or training a plus).
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Washington.
  • DEA certification and board eligibility/certification required.
  • Strong professional references and credentialing approvals.
