  • Shift: Days, 5x8, hours may vary during the time frame 0730-1600, 2-3 late days per week (based on recovery/procedure census)
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
    Job Requirements
  • Required Licensure: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.)
  • Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
  • Years of Experience: 1 year Endo
    Schedule Information
  • Weekend Hours: As required by facility, 6 week schedule periods (up to one weekend per 6 week schedule)
  • Call Requirements: up to 4-7 call days per 6 week schedule, 2 of which are over 1 weekend.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Number of Beds: up to 9 procedure rooms with 36 pre/post bays/beds
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 1:2
  • Procedures: 18-21 procedures per room per physician per shift.
  • Equipment: Olympus Scopes, ERBE
  • EMR: EPIC, Provation - Must have EPIC experience within past year
  • Must Have Skills/Experience: Procedure room documentation, procedure room tools and turnover, admit, recover, moderate/conscious endo sedation.
    Additional Details
  • Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.
  • Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of Mercy Hospital Springfield.
  • Experience: Basic dysrhythmia knowledge.
  • Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Specialized skill, judgment and knowledge. Good communication skills, able to work closely with physicians and other staff.
