We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC) with one of the following licenses:
o Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
o Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
o Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
for an 8 month contract role. The position requires a 40 hour work week, Monday to Friday.
Start Date IS VERY FLEXIBLE
Responsibilities:
• Deliver rehabilitation skills individually and in groups.
• Engage with unhoused and at •risk individuals.
• Conduct Cal AIM assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans.
• Maintain progress notes and complete WIC 5150 applications as needed.
• Provide therapeutic case management and conduct psychotherapy.
• Support transportation for case management and attend housing •related meetings.
• Develop relationships with property managers and engage with community members.
Requirements:
• Active LMHC license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty.
• Experience with unhoused and at •risk individuals.
• Ability to work in multiple city locations.
• Adherence to COVID•19 guidelines and PPE requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Travel experience. (Not required)
Candidates without time •off requests will be prioritized. All time •off requests must be submitted two weeks in advance. Temporary staff must provide a two •week notice to end their assignment. Parking is provided on site and PPE is fully supplied. Preferred scrub color is Royal Blue or Navy Blue.
