  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

  • Required to float: Nursery and PP
  • Call Required
  • Every other weekend Required
  • Required 1-2 years experience; Preference to those with 2 years
  • Patient Ratio 1:2
  • Accepts 1st time travelers with 2 years of L&D Experience

  • Required: Alabama RN License
  • Required: NRP
  • Required: ACLS
    Additional Details
  • Required: Drivers License/State ID
  • TIME SENSITIVE - Facility needs full social security number ASAP in order to initiate candidate access.
  • Required based on unit - AHA or ARC
  • Current BLS required - AHA or ARC
  • Required based on unit - AHA or ARC
  • National Certification/Verification prior to facility start & upon expiration.
  • Required by Vaya to meet Joint Commission standards. Not required by the client.
  • Primary source verification prior to facility start & upon expiration.
  • Nursys verification prior to facility start.
  • Required as applicable to Profession/Specialty.
  • Physical Exam within 12 months of start.
  • Fit Testing required within 12 months of start.
  • Tdap vaccination or declination required within 10 years of start.
  • 1 PPD, QGold, or TSPOT completed within the past 12 months.
  • Candidates will complete TB Questionnaire in lieu of new TB test if TB test expires while on assignment.
  • Required all year around. Flu season starts 10/1.
  • Vaccine or Med/Religious Exemption. Agency approved exemption form acceptable.
