Job Description:
This is a part time (0.2 - 0.4 Status) day shift Nuclear Medicine Technologist position in the Nuclear Medicine Department Prepares, calibrates and administers radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of an authorized user. In addition, provides quality control procedures to insure compliance with Nuclear regulatory Commission (NRC) requirements. Operates imaging, laboratory and computer instrumentation based on accepted standards of radiation safety and protection. Minimum Required: Graduate of accredited school of radiography in Nuclear Medicine. Registry eligible for Certification in Nuclear Medicine. ARRT-N or CNMT. Recent experience in general, Cardiac and PET/CT technologies. Previous PACS and RIS experience. Certified Nuclear Technologist with three (3) to five (5) years clinical experience. Current BLS upon hire; Healthcare provider BLS within three (3) months of hire. Basic computer skills. Effective verbal communication skills and ability to demonstrate strong customer satisfaction skills. Works independently with strong critical thinking abilities. Desired/Preferred: Current Healthcare Provider BLS upon hire preferred. Weekend Requirements: Yes. CMC is located on a 45-acre campus in Missoula, Montana.
