Competitive pay?Advancement and career development opportunities Responsibilities What You'll Do Calibrate and draw up radiopharmaceutical materials for administration to patients; formulate radiopharmaceutical materials from pre-prepared kits.Calibrate instruments and review calibration data to detect trends indicating instrument malfunctionCalculate data to include results of patient studies and radioactive decayEvaluate and record images for technical qualityProcess computerized image data to include function curves and reconstructed SPECT imagesMaintain inventory of supplies assigned to the area; prepare and maintain records concerning radiopharmaceutical receiving, dispensing, and disposal activitiesPerform required QA/QC functions, including monitoring the Nuclear Medicine Department with a portable Geiger Counter for possible contaminationPerform nuclear cardiology studies including image acquisition and processing and monitoring patient vital signs Qualifications What You'll BringGraduate of an accredited two-year radiologic technology program with advanced training and certification in Nuclear MedicineARRT (NM) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification BoardBLS certificationCompetency in compounds of Nuclear Medicine practice
