Job Description:
- Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care for assigned residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Collect and communicate data relevant to residents' physical and psychosocial conditions with the interdisciplinary team.
- Contribute to developing culturally relevant and age-appropriate care plans and recommend revisions as needed.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain current knowledge and competency in nursing practice through continuing education and in-service programs.
- Participate in mentoring and orientation of staff members.
- Consider factors related to safety, cost, and impact in planning and delivering care.
- Demonstrate leadership within the professional practice setting under the direction of the RN.
- Anticipate occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens and potential contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
