This job was posted by : For more information, please see: DescriptionnnThe University of Chicago's Department of Radiology is searching for a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor rank for a four-year renewable term to add to our growing section of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Responsibilities will include the full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures with strong oncologic, hepatobiliary, transplant, trauma, vascular including CTA imaging, dialysis, non-vascular, portal venous, women's, and pediatric interventional radiology services.nnThe appointee will contribute to patient care, medical education, and scholarship, and join a vibrant and distinguished community of faculty colleagues and learners at UChicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, the University of Chicago, and its affiliates. The appointee will also participate in a variety of interdisciplinary conferences and building collaborative relationships across campus. Other duties will include training and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows. There are numerous opportunities for collaboration available within the University and with community partners. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.nnThe Department of Radiology includes more than 80 full-time faculty members, clinical associates, and postdoctoral researchers. In addition to teaching medical students, residents and fellows, our faculty conduct cutting-edge translational and clinical research. A tradition of excellence in patient care, basic, clinical, and translational sciences, combined with the strengths of one of the world's top academic institutions provides the foundation for a career as an academic radiologist.
