Certification Details BLS NRP Job Details 1. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Types and ages of patients, number of rooms: Critical access facility. 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. We use EPIC for our computerized documentation and OBIX to archive our EFM strips. 3. Prior experience in labor, delivery, postpartum and nursery/newborn care required. Prior experience with basic medical/surgical patients required. 4. Shift or schedule requirements. Schedule will be rotating 8 and 12 hour shifts, primarily evenings and nights with the possibility of an occasional day. Job Requirements Must be NRP and BLS certified. STABLE and ALSO certifications preferred, but not required. Must have proof of Basic Electronic Fetal Monitoring course completion, Intermediate preferred but not required. Minimum of 2 years of Birthing Center experience. Schedule Information Will be required to work every 3rd weekend and every other holiday during assignment. Unit Specific Information Nurse to patient ratio is one-on-one with a labor patient during active labor. Additional Details Is this candidate a 1099 employee?
