Certification Details BLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) Schedule Information Rotating/NOC/Mid-shift with some days (0600-1830, 0700-1930, 0900-2130, 1100-2230, 1300-0130, 1900-0730, 1800-0630); EOW, EOH; will take care of ED patients along with back bedded patients; may need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed Additional Details Must be AHA. Nursing only Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not NURSYs but you will still upload here. Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals. Nursys quick confirm verifications should be used to review ALL license activity in all states, not just the state of placement. Copy of the physical license is not required. Completed prior to start and updated every 3 years. HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics Exam and answer key found in Document Library. Agency is required to give and grade the test. Score needs to be 90% or higher with only 2 attempts. The candidate or associate should provide documented proof of two Varicella vaccines, serological evidence of immunity, or verification of a history of varicella or herpes zoster (shingles) by a healthcare provider. If a candidate or associate cannot provide evidence of immunity, titers are required to check serological evidence for Varicella. Within 30 days prior to the start of the first assignment with the client, updated annually thereafter.
