VP Portfolio Manager Team Lead C&I and CRE – Elmwood Park, NJ
- FinTrust Connect is excited to announce that we have partnered with a well-established community bank in search of an experienced VP Portfolio Manager Team Lead for C&I and CRE in Elmwood Park, NJ. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing a combined portfolio of commercial and industrial (C&I) and commercial real estate (CRE) loans.

Requirements:
- College Degree.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in managing complex commercial loan portfolios, particularly in C&I and CRE environments.
- Formal credit training.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills to manage data intensive tasks and reporting.
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience in training and mentoring staff.
- Familiarity with middle market deals and complex credit situations, including workouts.
- Experience with lending underwriting and collections, highlighting a comprehensive understanding of the financial landscape.
Description:
- Oversee and manage a combined portfolio of commercial and industrial (C&I) and commercial real estate (CRE) loans.
- Conduct annual reviews, stress tests, and monitor loan portfolios, including implementing new systems for CRE management.
- Mentor and train junior staff members, manage audits, and oversee the responsibilities of 5 CRE and 2 C&I portfolio managers.
- Develop high level reports for executive management and participate in strategic planning to enhance portfolio performance.
- Serve as a deputy to the department head, contributing to leadership and strategic direction.
