Skill: Business System Analyst/ Quality Assurance Analyst

• 8-12 years experience.
• Business Analyst with QA knowledge (BA + QA) or BA willing to work in QA.
• Serving as a liaison between business and/or technology groups by identifying and defining complex systems requirements, scope, and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of business systems and IT-industry requirements.
• Working closely with business customers and technical teams to understand planned enhancements, system modifications, or specifications for new systems.
• Facilitating working sessions to elicit requirements from the technical team, track progress, and report status to Project Leadership and Sponsors.
• Defines the Test Plan by identifying the risk, scope, and type of work necessary for small to medium testing efforts. Establishes readiness, specifies skill needs, negotiates risk, provides estimates and plans work for testing efforts.
• Guides the testing effort according to, and tracking it against, the Test Strategy and Test Plan.
• Communicates progress and adjusts the Test Strategy and Plan based upon information learned during the project.
• Captures test activity information during execution. Communicates regularly with project members and advocates for resolution of high priority problems.
• Functions in a Test Lead role for testing efforts as assigned.
