Job Title: Senior Scientist

Location: Bradenton, FL

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Pay Rate: Up to $50/hour

Job Description

As a Senior Scientist at GSSI's clinical research laboratory in Bradenton, FL, you will contribute to cutting-edge research while upholding the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory-based clinical research studies at GSSI’s Bradenton lab.
• Lead the day-to-day execution of research projects, including:
• Participant recruitment and medical screenings (e.g., blood pressure, fasting glucose).
• Data collection and management during study sessions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and human physiology.
• At least 4 years of clinical research experience (including during a Ph.D. program).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a proactive work style.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and adaptability to work with diverse teams.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours as required by research schedules.
