Our client, a preeminent local real estate law firm, is currently seeking a capable Associate Attorney with a specific focus on real estate litigation matters, and an emphasis on evictions and tax appeals. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of property regulations and legal issues and must show interest to contribute effectively to our legal team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle real estate related litigation including evictions, tax appeals and other related disputes.
- Provide legal advice and support on various legal issues related to real estate such as leases, acquisitions, property management etc.
- Reviewing and drafting legal documents including pleadings, briefs, contracts, eviction notices, and lease agreements.
- Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations and negotiation meetings.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Law Degree from an accredited law school.
- Up to 3 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on real estate cases preferred.
- Admitted to the state bar and in good standing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Efficient negotiation and interpersonal skills.
