Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Space Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring that all aspects are aligned with our strategic goals. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical skills, and project management expertise to effectively draft, build, and oversee project schedules.
Must Haves:
- 3+ years of experience in Space Planning/Systems experience (planograms) JDA/Blue Yonder system experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and ability to quickly learn technology
- Ability to travel and local to Nashville (local to Nashville- 3 days a week)
Pluses:
- IKB or other SMS software knowledge
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Marketing, and/or equivalent work experience
Day to Day:
- Develop and manage planograms : Oversee inline, promotional, and display planograms that align with product assortments, store layouts, and company strategies, using tools like JDA/Blue Yonder.
- Optimize space and performance : Analyze store, department, and planogram performance (using POS data) to ensure appropriate SKU counts, space utilization, and store assortments based on clusters, demographics, and sales metrics.
- Maintain master data and inventory alignment : Manage replenishment codes, product details, legal restrictions, and shelf label data while ensuring accuracy across systems (SAP/IKB). Support inventory management teams with analytics for ordering and forecasting.
- Collaborate and execute projects : Partner with merchant, marketing, and operations teams to coordinate displays, ensure smooth line reviews, and support new store openings with accurate planograms, shelf labels, and layouts.
