Job Description

A global law firm is seeking a Recruiting Manager to join their NY team. The Manager will oversee recruiting, hiring, and integration efforts for law students, entry-level associates, and judicial clerks across multiple office locations. This role requires leadership in managing recruiting programs, developing strategies, and ensuring a seamless experience for candidates while aligning with the firm's broader goals.


Hours: 9:30 am - 5:30 pm

On-site: 3-4 days per week, with flexibility for 5 days based on business needs

Salary: $160-170K + discretionary bonus


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract top talent, including law school partnerships, targeted programs, and recruiting events.
  • Manage and execute all aspects of the summer associate program, including onboarding, training, assignments, and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with hiring partners and local office leaders to ensure alignment on recruitment goals and strategies.
  • Assist in the creation and development of recruiting materials and competitive research.
  • Administer interview programs, including on-campus and in-office interviews, and provide continuous support to hiring teams.
  • Oversee the recruiting season and off-season programs, including receptions, sponsorships, and panels.
  • Manage pre-employment correspondence for new hires and assist with their transition to the firm.
  • Coordinate with local office committees on events and initiatives to engage associates.
  • Manage the annual recruiting budget for multiple office locations and report on key metrics.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 6 years of law firm recruiting experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a recruiting team with multiple direct reports.
  • Comfortable with occasional travel to regional offices.
  • Strong knowledge of legal recruiting practices and industry trends.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
