CAD Specialist – Long-Term Contract

Contract Length: Long-term (open ended)

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, edit, and modify 2D and 3D drawings across multiple disciplines (electrical, process, architectural, mechanical, etc.)
• Utilize AutoCAD external references to incorporate and manage complex drawing sets.
• Conduct field surveys, taking photos and notes in challenging environments to inform accurate 2D and 3D models.
• Administer Meridian/QVP, including user management, data backup, and troubleshooting.
• Manage and maintain large-format plotters.
• Assemble relevant drawing sets for various projects.
• Collaborate with plant management, engineering, maintenance, and external contractors.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro, and AutoCAD (2D and basic 3D)
• Experience with Meridian/QVP or similar document management systems
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred
