Kelly is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician for one of our clients in Union City, CA

• Schedule: 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday 10 PM - 6:30 AM
• Pay Rate: $26.50/hr
• Duration: Temp-to-hire

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Laboratory Testing: Perform physical, chemical, and organoleptic evaluations using various laboratory equipment.
• Quality Assurance: Identify and isolate non-conforming materials, issuing hold orders as necessary. Monitor and enforce GMP and sanitation regulations. Conduct periodic GMP inspections and sensory evaluations.
• Environmental Monitoring: Perform environmental monitoring swabs and coordinate third-party lab submissions. Support the pest control program.
• Sanitation and Inspection: Inspect rooms for cleanliness and production readiness. Assist in compiling quality and statistical data.
• Equipment Calibration: Calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Data Analysis: Gather and assess quality and statistical data using Mapics, LIMS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Product Inspection: Inspect products to ensure adherence to specifications.
• General Duties: Maintain a clean lab environment, adhere to GMP and HACCP requirements, follow uniform guidelines, audit HACCP paperwork, and comply with all safety rules.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma
• 3-5 years of Quality Assurance experience

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Proficiency in computer software, including Excel, LIMS, and MAPICS
