Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: 100% onsite in Saint Paul
Pay Rate: $25-$28/hour
Hours: M-F 8am-4:30pm
Job Overview:
The HR Generalist provides vital support to the HR department by managing administrative duties, facilitating communication, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include handling phone inquiries, scheduling meetings, maintaining HR documentation, assisting with recruitment and training, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Main Duties:
- Greet visitors, respond to phone inquiries, and route questions to the appropriate department.
- Order and maintain office supplies, coordinate meeting logistics, and ensure all materials are prepared.
- Assist with responding to HR emails, filing, and arranging travel or training schedules.
- Prepare and distribute HR communications, forms, and reports.
- Assist with employee relations, onboarding, and benefits administration.
- Maintain accurate records, process employee requests, and manage exit interviews and unemployment claims.
- Coordinate training sessions, monitor compliance with regulations, and manage the HR intranet.
- Support the HR team with various administrative tasks and departmental projects.
- Manage HRIS, attend meetings, and ensure confidentiality of employee data.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a business-related field and 4 years of administrative experience, with at least 1 year in HR.
- 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Fluency in English and the ability to engage with diverse groups.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks, managing projects, and working independently.
