KBW has partnered with a growing public accounting firm located in Burlington, MA is currently seeking a Tax Preparer/Bookkeeper. Reporting to the Director, the Tax Preparer/Bookkeeper will be responsible for preparing tax returns, reconciling bank statements and credit cards as well as handling other bookkeeping duties. Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant: Preparing tax returns Handling bank statement and credit card reconciliations Assisting with bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks Assisting with audits GAAP accounting Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting Knowledge of GAAP guidelines Open to recent grads with a tax internship or Staff Accountants with prior bookkeeping experience Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
