Position: Leave of Absence (LOA) Administrator – Temporary Location: 100% Remote (Must be local to MA) Duration: Through at least April 2025 Compensation: $27-29 per hour About the Role Our client is seeking a skilled Leave of Absence (LOA) Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with hands-on expertise in managing various leave types. The LOA Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring seamless leave administration and delivering exceptional service to employees across the organization. Key Responsibilities Serve as a central point of contact for employees, managers, and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) for all leave-related matters. Handle employee inquiries regarding leave policies and processes, ensuring clear and timely communication. Administer leave programs, including state and federal statutory leaves, such as MA Paid Family and Medical Leave Act (PFMLA). Monitor the leave mailbox, responding to inquiries within a 24–48 hour SLA. Maintain accurate leave records in HR systems, performing audits to ensure data integrity. Code timecards for employees on leave, collaborating with payroll to ensure accurate payments. Coordinate with leave vendors to resolve discrepancies and manage escalations. Communicate benefits deductions to employees and ensure timely payroll updates. Provide regular updates to employees and managers on leave status and next steps. Assist with special projects and act as a backup to the Leave Administration Manager as needed. Qualifications Required: 1–2 years of direct, hands-on experience in leave administration. Strong knowledge of various leave types (e.g., FMLA, ADA, state-specific programs). Proficiency in HR systems and leave management software. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
