- Patient Volume: 30 patients/day.
- Annual ER Volume: 9,000 visits/year.
- Staff Support: Full ED staff, including MDs for fast track.
- Bed Count: 20.
- EHR: Cerner.
Requirements - Board Certification: Required (ABEM, IM/FM with 2+ years of recent EM experience).
- License: Active Michigan license (IMLC not accepted).
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS.
- Local Candidates: Only accepting local providers.
- Background: Must be clean for quick credentialing.
Practice Details - Procedures Required: Standard Emergency Medicine procedures (as listed in practice description).
- Responsibilities:
- Manage ED patients (no supervision of other providers).
- ED staff does not respond to house codes.
- No hospital admission order writing (handled by hospitalists).
- Miscellaneous:
- Reverse billing: Providers must clock in/out via Kronos (no timesheets).
- 70% of hospital admissions come from ED.
