IMMEDIATE NEED FOR NEUROINTERVENTIONAL RN: MUST HAVE MINIMUM 2 YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN MEDIUM TO LARGE SIZED FACILITIES WITH HIGH ACUITY PATIENT FLOW WITH EXPERIENCE IN ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS: Neuro Cath Lab, Neuro Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, Neuro, Critical Care, Emergency Dept, or other related higher acuity arena. EPIC experience is HIGHLY preferred. May be required to float to Cath Lab. REQUIRED Certs: ACLS, BLS (both AHA), NIHS. Initial tests during orientation that must be passed are medications, basic dysrrthmia and hemodynamic monitoring.
Job responsibilities would normally include administering conscious sedation and monitoring of patient's condition, labs / medication access and medications, setting up and maintaining sterile field, assisting during the procedure using various equipment, troubleshooting hemodynamic monitoring system plus more related to the interventional procedure. Phillips XR equipment is used. RN would work with a team consisting of a Physician, Technologist and XR Techs; 1-2 cases per day in a Neuro Interventional suite performing catheter-based angiography to treat various neurologic abnormalities (adult and pediatric). Patient population may include those with COVID. This is a Safety sensitive position. *

*** PERMANENT ADDRESS MUST BE PRESENTED WITH PROFILE; All travelers must have permanent residence greater than 100 miles from hospital. If permanent address is in question - facility reserves right to request proof with utility bill or other like document.
BILLING: if the employee clocks in before 12:0001 midnight, then any hours worked after midnight on the actual holiday are not considered holiday hours. They must clock in after 12:0001 in order to be considered holiday hours worked.
SS# must be presented upon confirmation/hire.
** Updated 5-20-11: RN PATIENT CARE STAFF ONLY:On first day of orientation, Saint Francis will administer a Medication test as well as a Basic Dysrrhythmia Test electronically to all RNs - unless otherwise indicated by job request. Travelers must pass them in order to take care of patients. Additional exams required for more specialized and higher acuity areas.
*** Updated 9/23/15: FLU Vaccination - All NEW travelers that start between October 1 and March 1 of the following year, AND those accepting extensions taking them into this time frame will be required to present (as a part of their credentialing process) evidence of FLU vaccination or documentation of exclusion based on medical necessity. If the traveler is not in compliance by the end of day Dec 31, their schedule will be suspended or assignment terminated depending on the traveler's intent to comply.
EVALUATIONS done at end of assignment. If Facility does not have a company evaluation on file by end of assignment, Facility will have Manager complete an SFH evaluation which will be forwarded to Company when received from Manager.
