Location: Buda, TX

Our Class A Truck Drivers operate on a Monday-Saturday schedule, with mandatory Saturday work for all new hires. Typically, you will work 4-5 days a week, with potential for up to 6 days based on business needs.

Expect to start between midnight and 5 AM, with most shifts beginning around 3 AM and continuing until completion. Average hours worked are 45-55 per week.

With our Flex Scheduling options, achieving a true work-life balance is attainable at US Foods. Multiple full-time flexible schedules are available, including both 5-day (2 days off) and 4-day (3 days off) work week options.

Your Earnings:

During training, our Delivery Drivers earn $27.81 per hour, and after training, they transition to component pay, averaging about $32.00 per hour!

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely drive trucks to customers and adhere to scheduled delivery times.
  • Unload products utilizing a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place them in designated storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments when applicable.
  • Provide excellent customer service to enhance client experience.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product throughout each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in various weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Valid CDL Class A license with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • At least six months of commercial driving experience or three months in food/beverage delivery.
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission preferred; may be required in some locations.
  • Must be proficient in English to understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete reports.
