Frankies Spuntino Group is looking for friendly, motivated Sommeliers/Servers  who love food and wine, pay attention to the details, and want to create exceptional experiences for our guests. If you’re passionate about Italian-American cuisine, great wine, and down-to-earth hospitality, we’d love to meet you! 

You will be responsible for:

• Being knowledgeable of our full menu and preparation, including specials
• Own the service of wine and food in your section, from order taking, to clearing, and asking for help when needed.
• Wine Expertise: Know our wine list, make recommendations, and share your passion with guests.
• Contributing to a welcoming atmosphere, helping guests feel right at home while they enjoy their meal
• Entering guest orders accurately in the POS and pacing their meal appropriately
• Performing opening and closing duties, including setting up room and tables to ensure a clean and orderly service
• Maintaining a positive, outgoing demeanor during service
• Supporting your teammates when needed
• Following all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1-2 Year New York restaurant experience
• Wine certifications like WSET or CMS—but we’re just as excited about someone with a passion for learning and sharing their knowledge.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
• Flexible schedule - available to work lunch, brunch & dinner shifts on weekdays, weekends and holidays
• Experience working with Toast POS
