We are looking for experienced bartenders that have excellent knowledge of the cocktails, guest relations, and zero pretension. This role will work both behind the bar as well as bar floor service as part of the service rotation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cocktails
- Master the cocktails on the menu and list of classic cocktails including a strong understanding about the products used.
- Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, respecting our basic rules: perfectly measured, clean bar tools, swift response time. All while adhering to our principle of aiming to provide the best drinking experience without a hint of pretension.
- Think ahead on needs and communicate with the team.
- Participate in the creation of the cocktail for future menus.
- Assist in training and development of new team members.
- Act as a leader during service
Guest Relation
- Create a welcoming environment for guests, assess their needs, present the cocktails menu and make recommendations.
- Ensure that the guest is seated, provided with a menu, and thoroughly taken care of from that point forward.
- Step in to assist a guest if you notice they are in need, even if outside of your section.
Cleanliness, opening and closing of the bar
- The opening and closing duties are part of a collective effort from all team members, as is the cleanliness of the bar throughout the entire service.
- Apply all food and beverage safety and quality regulations.
Communication & Reporting
- Communicate with the Head Bartender or Management for inventory issues, client comments, and general reporting.
- Comply with all reasonable direction and/or requests from the Management Team.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in a similar role within a cocktail bar.
- Have excellent spirits & classic cocktails knowledge.
- Attention to details and customer needs.
- Social, engaging and motivated.
- Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.
- Excellent communication skills.
