CDL-A Truck Driver Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years, including at least 6 months of over-the-road experience.
• Hold a Class A CDL and be willing to obtain a hazmat endorsement.
• No reckless driving convictions within the past 5 years.
• No DUI or DWI convictions within the past 5 years.
• No suspensions or revocations related to moving violations in the last 5 years.
• No serious violations in the past 12 months (such as excessive speed, following too closely, improper passing, or offenses leading to a fatality).
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the past 3 years.

Essential Functions:

• Open and close trailer doors - force requirement: 46 lbs.
• Count freight and complete fuel tickets.
• Hook and unhook trailers - force requirement: 90 lbs.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections.
• Ability to sit upright for extended travel hours.
• Move freight - force requirement: 54 lbs.
• Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
• Enter and exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle.
• Access the rear of a trailer from ground level.
