Job Purpose:
Looking for detail oriented and dedicated Quality Technician for our 1st shift in our Fremont, CA location. In this role, you will be responsible for determining product acceptance both in-process and at final assembly by inspecting parts per customer drawings and workmanship standards. You will make use of monitoring and measurement devices, as well as perform visual inspection. You will document and submit the results of inspection and testing activities in both paper and electronic systems. You will determine and may assist in developing methods and procedures for quality inspection and control.
Education and Experience Qualifications
- High School Diploma or college courses.
- Minimum of 2- 4 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with paint and weld inspection required.
- Experience as a CMM operator a plus.
- Must have knowledge of GD&T drawings consistent with the latest revisions of the ASME standards.
- Experience reading and interpreting Bill of Materials (BOM), workmanship standards and customer engineering specifications
- Experience with inspection equipment and measurement such as, but not limited to CMM, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, etc
- Competent in word processing, spreadsheets, and data analysis.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must be flexible in regards to overtime availability and work with minimal supervision.
