Work Shift: Night
The Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care Unit is responsible for providing compassionate and competent care to adult patients with actual or potential life-threatening cardiac dysfunction. This 17-bed critical care unit requires skilled nursing in administering medications, performing treatments and procedures, and implementing emergency measures as per American Heart Association's guidelines. Additionally, the role involves ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests, collaborating with the nursing team to create individualized care plans, and maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice. This position requires access to sensitive information and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory statutes.
