CATu00a0Scanu00a0Technologists (CT Tech)u00a0operate CAT scan andu00a0sendu00a0images tou00a0radiologistsu00a0for interpretation.u00a0The CT Tech determinesu00a0and setsu00a0appropriate technical parameters andu00a0positionsu00a0patientsu00a0foru00a0theu00a0anatomy and pathologyu00a0tou00a0be accurately demonstrated.u00a0CT tech job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:u00a0 n

• Administeru00a0contrast materialu00a0injectionsu00a0 n
• Record the patientu2019s medical history before an exam and educate and prepare patients for their examinationsu00a0 n
• CT Tech act as the primary liaison between patients and radiologists and other members of the support teamu00a0 n
• Address problems that are varied, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation using direct observation, knowledge, and skills based on general precedentsu00a0u00a0 n n n n
