Job Description
Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT)
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day - 12x3 - 09 AM

Experience: 2+ years in CT Tech
License: TEMP NH MIRT license required; Must possess an out-of-state Imaging license if no NH license
Certifications: ARRT (CT) required
Must-Have:
- Experience with IV/Contrast injection
- Experience with Adolescent to Geriatric patient populations
Job Description:
- Position and immobilize patients on the procedure table using supportive devices to ensure precise positioning.
- Follow protocols specified by the Radiologist to perform scans.
- Administer contrast media orally and intravenously.
- Enter technical data such as type of scan requested, slice thickness, and scan time into the computer.
- Review images of organs or tissues on video display screen to ensure quality.
- Evaluate radiographs and computer-generated data for technical quality.
- Demonstrate new techniques, equipment, and procedures to staff.
- Implement and monitor radiation safety measures to ensure patient and staff safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Information:
- Equipment: GE Scanner, Siemens Somatrom Definition AS Scanner
- Caseload: Typically averages 65-80 patients on Fridays and 30-40 patients on weekend days
- Patient Population: A variety of age groups, with an increased volume of elderly patients
- Dress Code: Any color scrubs required
- Two separate supervisory references from within the last three years are required. Total of three references needed during onboarding.
