Must-Have:
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve
Job Description:
- Work in an adult imaging department with a 64-bed hospital facility, including a 12-bed Adult ICU and a 14-bed ED department.
- Provide coverage for CT shifts on weekends from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Handle majority of adult ED patients with occasional pediatric scans and adult inpatient orders.
- Operate Siemens Somatom Plus 128 slice CT equipment.
- Use electronic medical records system (EMR) Meditech and PACS - FUJI Synapse.
- Prefer candidates with:
- Siemens scanner experience
- 2-3 plus years of experience in CT
- Ability to provide backup support for X-ray if needed
- Perform procedures including a mix of CT Head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, CTA chest, neck, abdomen, occasional CTA Cardiac studies, some CT Lumbar / Thoracic spine, and CT Head Stroke protocol.
- Fit for a candidate who works well in busy or slow environments, collaborates effectively with other departments, and is dependable and prompt.
- Must adhere to dress code: Black scrubs (not provided).
- Small facility with a family-friendly atmosphere, easy orientation with comprehensive resources, and quick adaptation to the environment.
