Job Summary
The CT Technologist will perform CT scans, also known as CAT scans. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which is essential for accurate diagnostics.

Essential Functions of a CT Tech - Perform general CT exams in a timely and complete manner.
- Position patients and answer any questions regarding the procedure.
- Ensure the proper dose of radionuclides are administered, starting IV lines if needed.
- Monitor patient discomfort throughout the procedure.
- Review images for quality.
- Accurately document the procedure and update patient records.
- Injection of IV contrast/willingness to train to inject.
- Correlation of clinical history to the test that is being performed.
- Assure that all exams include accurate clinical and demographic information and high quality, complete images.
- Deliver exceptional customer care.
- Work as part of a team to assist radiologists, fellow technologists and office staff as needed.
E ducation and Experience - Associate or bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology.
- State licensure in diagnostic imaging.
- ARRT CT credential (R credential a plus)
- BLS Certification
