"Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform computed tomography techniques and examinations
• Conducts a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures including assisting radiologists with
biopsies, cardiac CT, CT Angiograms, and post-processing.
• Produce computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretation
• Operate CT equipment and select technical factors
• Responsible for proper identification on images, including both identification and demographic
information 100% of the time.
• Document all related data.
• Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, the general public and self.
Other Responsibilities:
• Identify, process, transfer and archive patient exams including exam records, images and patient
demographics.
• Maintain the integrity and security of the radiology information systems.
• Resolve and escalate complex issues.
• Orient and train fellow staff technologists.
• Develop and deliver training and in-service presentations.
• Subject to on-call status including weekends and holidays.
• Other shifts as assigned
• All other duties as assigned
Work Experience Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience is required essential, pediatric experience required, EPIC
experience required, and Siemens experience required.
• High School Diploma/equivalent required.
• Technical Diploma from a Radiology Program Required
Certification and License requirements:
• Computed Tomography (CT) issued by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) issued through on organization that requires a hands-on
instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross).
Education Requirements:
• High School Diploma / GED
• Technical Diploma of Radiology Program"
