As a UI/UX Designer, you will create intuitive, user-centered designs, identify and prioritize product needs, and collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional experiences. The ideal candidate will be creative, flexible, results-oriented and have a desire to build their career at Kimley-Horn.nnThis is an in-office position.nnResponsibilitiesnnSupport existing and emerging software products in Kimley-Horn’s portfolionnCollaborate with product teams to understand operational concepts and functional requirementsnnProduce high quality designs through user flow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes that are intuitive, on-brand and meet software functionality requirementsnnStay informed on industry trends and apply best practicesnnPartner with cross-functional teams including software developers, QA, product owners, and engineers to drive the creation and delivery of exceptional user experiences, leveraging user-centric design principlesnnRecommend and implement UX research methodologies and testing initiatives to analyze user needs and behaviorsnnThrive as part of a specialized Product Development team and play a central role in shaping our brand’s evolution within the product spacennQualificationsnnBA/BS in Graphic Design, Human-Centered Design, or a similar fieldnn4+ years of related work experiencennProficiency in Figma and FigJamnnBasic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft OfficennProactive self-starter with the ability to work independentlynnExcellent graphic design skills with an emphasis on clean, modern aestheticnnExcellent organization and time management skillsnnNatural collaborator with strong verbal and written communication skillsnnTeam player with a positive, solution-seeking attitude and a high sense of personal responsibilitynnPreferred Technical Experience:nnUI/UX or Product Design certification through bootcampnnExperience with accessibility standards is a plusnnA blend of creativity and technical understanding, allowing you to visualize designs that are both striking and feasiblennPlease provide a copy or link to your portfolio with related work samples.nnWhy Kimley-Horn?nnAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
