We seek people who have expertise in the relevant disciplines, understand how these missions are conducted today, have a vision for how to revolutionize those missions, and the passion to tackle hard problems.nnRoles and Responsibilities include:nnFamiliar with disciplines such as: computer science, artificial intelligence, reverse engineering, RF engineering, signal processing, military operations, information warfare, policy analysis, scaled agile framework, and system architecturennStrategize with senior government personnelnnAdvise and influence on cyber operations visionnnEngineer innovative tactics, techniques, and procedures to ensure resiliency in the face of cyber-attacknnPrevent malicious cyber activitynnDetect the presence of adversaries on friendly networksnnDevelop innovative cyber operations strategies, tactics, techniques, and proceduresnnWork closely with senior MITRE and government leaders to communicate vision and strategy to improve cyber operationsnnLead a team of MITRE personnel to implement strategy and/or develop prototype solutionsnnBasic Qualifications:nnTypically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.nnBachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related fieldnnAt least 8 years of professional experiencennA demonstrated knowledge of systems engineering and familiarity with cyber security processes and tools.nnTrack record of innovative thinking with a bias toward action in the cyber security/resiliency domainnnDemonstrated ability to work with sponsors at a senior level to identify key technical challenges and opportunities.nnExperience developing work programs, shaping work programs, and creating sponsor relationships, especially as related to cyber software engineering, intel, public sector, and/or DOD cyber work programs.nnfamiliar with cybersecurity development including system testing & evaluation and verification & validation.nnMust have minimum of DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph clearancennProficiency in use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and WordnnMust have demonstrated proficiency and strength in verbal, written, PC, presentation, and communications skillsnnThis position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site presence.nnPreferred Qualifications:nnAdvanced degree in technical field of studynnThis requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s):nnTop Secret/SCI/PolygraphnnThis requisition requires the hired candidate to have or obtain, within one year from the date of hire, the following clearance(s):nnTop Secret/SCI/PolygraphnnSalary compensation range and midpoint:nn$151,000 - $188,500 - $226,000 AnnualnnWork Location Type:nnHybridnnMITRE is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
