We are seeking a talented Senior Network Engineer to be a key part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will engage in the design, migration, implementation, enhancement, optimization, and maintenance of LAN/WAN/Video/Voice/desktop infrastructures. You will leverage your creativity and independent judgment to craft unique solutions, ensuring network availability for all users. Your responsibilities will include developing network designs, assessing architecture, documenting processes, and executing testing efforts. You will also handle upgrades and support to resolve unique network challenges.

Minimal travel (no more than 5% CONUS) is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create innovative technical solutions for complex issues requiring thorough technical knowledge.
• Utilize various data sources to fully understand challenges and inform solutions; possess strong skills in network monitoring tools and deep data analysis.
• Evaluate network service requests, validate, and triage unique inquiries.
• Analyze current and future network infrastructure to determine requirements for effective solutions.
• Maintain network hardware and software, ensuring layer communications and transport reliability.
• Monitor network performance to guarantee availability for all users while performing necessary maintenance.
• Generate and update infrastructure documentation.
• Contribute to the development of network architecture and strategic roadmaps.
• Support design documentation, factory testing, and integration of network infrastructure.
• Manage installations, upgrades, and provide support for operating systems, network hardware, and software products.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize immediate and long-term goals, including multi-year strategies and operational plans.
• Prepare briefings for client approval boards.
• Assist in crafting and implementing training plans for new hires, and participate in training sessions covering network systems, processes, and best practices.
• Foster leadership skills by mentoring junior team members, leading small teams, and participating in leadership development initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Extensive experience with programs of similar size and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree and at least 18 years of related experience, OR Master's degree and at least 15 years of experience, OR a minimum of 20 years of experience instead of a degree.
• Hands-on experience in network engineering and administration.
• Demonstrated experience in performing network engineering or administration duties on comparable programs.
• Proficiency in Cisco and Juniper architecture.
• Ability to lead and effectively communicate complex technical concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant Cisco or Juniper certifications.
