We are a growing small business looking for individuals who are interested in growing our business with us. You can learn and grow in a trade while making a living! This job is based in Ellaville, Georgia with some travel required for installers. If you are someone who enjoys working with your hands, enjoys a challenge of different types of projects rolling through the shop, and doing something a little different every day then this job would be a good fit.

This is not a clean and comfortable office job - there is machinery, noise, dust, sweat, and sometimes a little cold. We work in a large shop environment and on construction/remodeling sites. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift large, bulky objects throughout the day as an individual (where feasible up to approximately 50 lbs.) and as a team.Must be able to climb stairs and ladders up to 10' in height for the purpose of installing cabinetry and millwork. Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment for extended periods of time.

- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record is required for installers. Dependable transportation required for assembly/shop employees.

- Must be a US and authorized to work in the United States
n
- Must be able to pass a full background check with no felony convictions within the past 10 years
n
- Stable work history - If there are time gaps in your employment, you need to be able to explain them. If you have changed jobs multiple times in the past few years, you will not be considered. We aren't looking for job hoppers.
n
- Must be committed to working in a team environment with employees, contractors, and other trades.
n
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
n
- Must take pride in your work and pay great attention to detail. If you aren't willing to put your name on your finished product or take the time to do something correctly the first time, then this probably isn't a good fit for you.
n
- Must be willing to help maintain a clean workplace, vehicle, and jobsite. No job is too small/dirty/unimportant for anyone here.
n
Preference is given to candidates with cabinetry, countertop, or finish carpentry experience.
n

- If you aren't willing to learn new skill or expect to do exactly the same thing day after day, this is not the job for you.

- If you don't enjoy working with other people in a team envrionment.
n
-If you want to start at the top of the pay scale with no experience.

- If we can't count on you to show up to work on time when you are scheduled.

- If you bring your personal drama to work with you
n
- If you expect to take long bathroom or smoke breaks on the clock (No smoking in the shop, on jobsites, or in vehicles!)

- Theft of time, materials, tools, or any other property is absolutely not tolerated and will be prosecuted
n
- if you show up late and/or leave early (or in the middle of something that could easily be completed)
n
We are family-focused and flexible but we also have high expectations for attendance, timeliness, communication, and honesty. We value employees who are willing to stay late when necessary, come early when needed, and put in the extra effort to bring jobs across the finish line. Some days will be longer than others, some shorter. We are people who jump in and do what is needed - not stand around and wait to be told what to do next. We expect the same from our team members.

Starting pay will depend on experience. Candidates with no or little experience start on the lower end of the pay range and pay increases as productivity, skills, and knowledge increase. Do good work, show up on time, and the pay goes up.

We are now offering Aflac supplemental accident and injury insurance to our employees, fully paid by Goodworks. We pay by check every two weeks at the end of the Friday workday. We hope to add and offer more benefits in the future as we grow - stick with us and help us build a strong team.

Work weeks are Monday thru Friday mostly 8:00-5:00 - however, there are some nights and weekends that will be required due to the nature and location of our work. This will mean some overtime and flexibility in schedules - particularaly for installation. (example: Two days may be 12 hours with a day off mid-week or a weekend with days off mid week..)
